A minimum of 80% attendance is a must for appearing in the annual examination. A minimum of 40% or
“D” grade in each subject is a must for promotion to the next class.
Appearance in examination and evaluation tests is compulsory. Application/ medical certificate by the parent within three days is a must for missing a test
for any untoward happening/on medical grounds. No separate tests are held in such cases.
Promotion is given on the basis of aggregate of the remaining exams/pervious tests. Absence from examination /tests for any other reasons is not condoned .

Pass Criteria For IX and X
A Candidate will be eligible to get the pass certificate if he/she gets a grade higher than E or 33% in all subjects.
In case of a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in practical separately in addition to 33% marks in theory
in order to quality in that subject.
